And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.  And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.  Exodus 15:20-21 And David danced before the Lord with all his might: and David was girded with a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.  II Samuel 6:14-15

OUR VISION is to awaken the congregation to a higher level of worship.

Hear, Oh Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper, thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou has put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; to the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent.  O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.  Psalms 30:10-12.

Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.  For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.  Psalms 149:1-4

Praise ye the Lord, Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.  Psalms 150:1-6

OUR GOALS are:
To Bring God's people into unity and of one accord.
To usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
To share God's gifting and anointing of dance, not just with the church body, but with the world, with all of man.

OUR PURPOSE is:
To honor God, that through His presence; healings, deliverances, and revival would flow.
To bring a hunger to know God more.

OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
External: train the body, mind and spirit to be renewed in the Word of God.
Internal: to also function as a prayer group, as dance is also a language of prayer in motion.

HOW:
By Prayer, Meditation on the Word, and HARD, HARD WORK!!

The Jubilee Worship Center Spiritual Expressions Dance Ministry is overseen by Pat Sherrow.  Ministry assistant is Carla Barbarossa.  Ministry members are Eva Ramos, Kay Davis, Pauline Ward, and Carolyn Brown.
