So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.  Joshua 6:20

THE SHOFAR MINISTRY was started by Jim Barbarossa in 1996 when God put a Shofar in Jim's hand and called in to use it and teach on it.  (Click Here for Teaching Schedule.)

JWC'S SHOFAR MINISTRY was started when God spoke to Pastor Dale Combs to open every Sunday morning worship service with the sound of the Shofar.

OUR VISION is to bring understanding about the Shofar, as an ancient Hebrew musical instrument of praise, worship, deliverance, and warfare.  To raise up an army of Shofar blowers to call the world to repent and receive King Jesus.  (Click Here for Info on The Army of Shofar Blowers Across America.)

THE PURPOSE of our ministry:
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand.  Joel 2:1
Our purpose is to remind the world that God sounded the first Shofar when He gave the world the Ten Commandments.  To send forth a call of repentance, calling the world to repent for breaking God's Law.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.  I Thessalonians 4:16
To remind all people that their will be one great Shofar blast, and Jesus will return, and they better be ready!

To bring deliverance in the body of Christ.  To break the strongholds, to bring down the walls that are stopping Christians from taking their cities for Jesus.
